HIKE & CLIMB
LE MORNE MOUNTAIN
Le Morne Brabant

Hiking & Climbing Le Morne Mountain is a fantastic way to have an adventurous outdoor experience and to view the island's stunning nature from different perspectives.

Situated at the extreme southwestern tip of Mauritius, you will take the same route followed by the runaway slaves who were on the quest for freedom.

Le Morne Brabant was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in July 2008 to memorialize the runaway slaves who preferred to commit suicide by jumping off the cliff rather than being captured and enslaved again.

The hike includes a total of 4 rock-scrambling and climbing areas. You will be guided by our certified mountaineer who is totally committed to safety, comfort and fun.

You will also spot “Boucle d’Oreille” commonly known as Trochetia Boutoniana, the endemic national flower of Mauritius.

Participants must have a good level of fitness and not having any fear of heights.

EXPLORING
TAMARIND FALLS
Tamarind Fall

Our guided trip into the lush and wild green canyon of the Tamarind Falls is an adventurous, top-rated option for enjoying the falls. This trip brings you back to the wilderness, allowing you to connect with yourself and nature again.

The name itself says "7 Cascades" but you will actually discover up to 13 falls! Tamarind Falls plunge through a dramatic, intensely green canyon sheltered by mature woods and clothed in moss and ferns.

Unlike the common way to explore the 7 Cascades, the trek begins off the beaten track where you will be heading to the bottom of all the connected waterfalls. As from there you will be trekking into the wild forests filled with exotic plants and birds.

The trek includes: walking in the woods, near the water, multiple river crossing and rock scrambling areas which can be tackled by beginners.

Enough time will be available to relax and enjoy the astonishing views of the waterfalls.

Jumping from one plateau to another is prohibited.
Participants must have a good level of fitness and not having any fear of heights.
